Mike earned six of his seven October wins during a six-game win streak to start the month. His performance since the start of the month lowered his season GAA by almost a goal from 3.66 to 2.79, and improved his save percentage 26 points from .875 to .901.

Led by Morissette in goal, the Flyers experienced a similar turnaround during the month. After a .500 start to the season, they went 8-2-2 in October, earning 18 of a possible 24 points and moving into third place in the GOJHL Western Conference standings.

Mike's 10 wins this season are most in the conference and second most in the GOJHL, and his 2.79 goals against average currently ranks fifth among all GOJHL goaltenders and fourth in the conference.

Mike is currently in his third season with the Flyers. In 72 career games, he has a record of 33-28-1 with a 3.16 GAA, .907 save percentage and one shut-out.

Mike will be recognized in a ceremony prior to an upcoming Flyers home game.
